Terms of Service

Broadsheet aggregates and presents information from public and third-party sources, including vulnerability databases, exploit catalogues, vendor feeds and news sources. It is an information aid only. It is not a managed detection, monitoring, patch-management, incident-response, safety-critical, emergency, or professional security-advice service.

You remain solely responsible for your security programme, asset inventory, vulnerability assessment, patching, monitoring, incident response, regulatory obligations and decisions. You must independently verify any information before relying on it or acting on it.

We do not warrant that Broadsheet will identify every CVE, affected product, exploit, threat, news item or security issue; that any match, severity, exploitability flag, alert, digest or brief will be accurate, complete, current, delivered, uninterrupted or delivered within a particular time; or that the service will be available at all times.

Third-party data can be delayed, changed, withdrawn, incomplete or wrong. Network faults, email filtering, configuration mistakes, software defects, outages and events outside our control can prevent or delay access or delivery. Treat all outputs as potentially incomplete and verify them against authoritative sources.

You must provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure and promptly tell us if you suspect unauthorised use. You may not share accounts, probe or disrupt the service, circumvent limits or access controls, scrape the service at scale, reverse engineer it except where law permits, or use it unlawfully or to harm another person or system.

We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, third parties or our legal position, or where you breach these Terms.

Paid plans, prices, billing periods and included features are shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe or its relevant payment partners. Unless stated otherwise at checkout, subscriptions renew automatically for the selected period until cancelled through the billing portal. You remain responsible for applicable taxes and for maintaining a valid payment method.

Consumer cancellation, refund and other statutory rights are not limited by these Terms. Where law requires pre-contract information, cancellation notices or a different outcome, that law takes precedence.

We retain all rights in Broadsheet, its software, design, summaries and other material we create. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the service for your internal purposes. Third-party content remains subject to the rights and terms of its respective owners.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Broadsheet is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties or conditions of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory. This includes any implied warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability and security.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive loss; loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity, data, goodwill or reputation; business interruption; or any loss arising from a missed, delayed, inaccurate or incomplete CVE, match, alert, digest, brief or other output.

Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of £100 and the amount you paid us for Broadsheet in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

If you use Broadsheet for a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business. You will indemnify us against third-party claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the service or your breach of these Terms. This indemnity applies only to the extent permitted by law.

We may change the service or these Terms. For material changes, we will give reasonable notice through the service, email, or both. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms. You may stop using the service at any time. Clauses that should reasonably survive termination, including liability limits and intellectual-property provisions, will survive.

For business users, these Terms and any non-contractual dispute are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory law provides otherwise. If you are a consumer, you may have mandatory rights in the country where you live; these Terms do not remove them.
